Engraving the bolster of your knife adds much character to it, making the knife one of a kind and distinctly yours.

A bolster may cost only $10-$20 to engrave with the average knife I do in the $40 to $80 range.

The price depends on size, detail, style, background,  etc...

Scrimshaw can also be done on ivory, bone, or plastic ivory handles to make it even more distinctive.
